What Type of Flowers Are These?

I have been living in my house for 6 years and these flowers have been blooming every other year. My husband has been living in this house for 8 years and he told me that this flower bush only started to flower after I moved in.  I thought that it was so sweet of him to say that (smile). Anyhow do anyone know what type of flowers these are? I through that it was strange that it only bloom every other year. I put some fertilizer on it hopefully that will help with the flowering. So if any have any ideas or know what type of plant it is please let me know.  Thanks

Pepsi NEXT Great Taste, Less Sugar

When I received a can of Pepsi NEXT and a coupon for a free  bottle of Pepsi NEXT in the mail, I was really excited, because I love trying new things. I think Pepsi NEXT is good for anyone who is on a diet, because it is not as sweet as regular soda. I doesn't have a bad taste like other diet pops. I gave it four stars is because it has a little after taste when you drink it.

But I would definitely recommend this Pepsi for any one who are trying to watch their sugar intake.

Easy Science Icecream Experiment.

I found this on the web and my children did this experiment today in science and they really enjoyed it! The ice cream was delicious!  We put mashed strawberry's in our ice cream. Pictures coming soon!
In this experiment the children will learn why we need salt to make ice cream.

1 cup milk
2 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup salt

Journey to Virginland,Book Review

 

When I saw the cover to this book I was excited about reading it. However on starting it I found the book to be rather offending and boring. I can't say that it was an easy book. The constant flow of high vocabulary and dry wit will leave you feeling confused unless you read it with a dictionary.

 However, it's an odd look into the society we know today. While continuously trying to figure out the world, Dog takes a good look at himself and takes stock of what he has experienced, what he thinks about religion, politics, and, sex. It isn't a book for everyone,  If you research some of the areas (such as Virginland or Paradise), you will find that in reality, this place do exist in some part of the world.
