Presto Dots Ice Cream Cone

1. To make the scoops, cover 2 or 3 Presto Dots armature balls (or foam balls) with a thin layer of Model Magic® by pushing and spreading the modeling compound with your fingers. Model Magic that is fresh from the pack will stick to itself. Dried pieces can be glued together.

2. Carefully cut a piece of a recycled cardboard roll to be about the length of your open hand. Use Crayola No-Run School Glue to attach the bottom of a small plastic container, like a recycled fruit cup, to the top of the cardboard roll to form the shape of a cone! Allow the glue to air-dry, and then cover the cone using a thin layer of Model Magic.

3. Stack the scoops on top of each other, and firmly attach to the cone. You may wish to secure the scoops in place with glue.

4. Flatten a small amount of Model Magic to be about as thick as your fingers. Be sure to tightly cover the remaining Model Magic in the container to prevent it from drying.

5. Press one of the Presto Dots tools firmly into the flattened Model Magic. Lift the tool, and press gently onto the ice cream scoop. The Model Magic inside the tool will stick to the scoop and form a dot! Repeat until every scoop and the cone are completely covered with dots. Be creative! Use different colors, shapes, and patterns to decorate the ice cream cone. You can even swirl together different colors or blend them completely to make new colors!

6. Use leftover Model Magic to create cherries, sprinkles, and other fun toppings to add to the ice cream cone!
