Hiddon Under Her Heart by Rachelle Ayala Review

The theme of the book is about how making the choice to have an abortion is a very hard decision. This book is also about choices we make, and those made for us due to circumstance. In the book, Maryanne is attempting to make changes in her life. She wants to move from her life of bad choices in men, to a life where she has a man committed to her and to marriage. She starts to date a man named Lucas, who could be the one. One night after a fight with Lucas, she finds herself at a party where she was raped and became pregnant. Her boyfriend is accused, and she has to go about clearing his name. They go through many problems as they work to find the truth. Maryanne considers abortion feeling because of her past it would be the best. Lucas is against abortion and works at trying to change her mind. There is trouble following them both as they try and figure out who the father is, and how to prove Lucas is not the rapist. As they follow their journey together, they learn about loving themselves and forgiveness. What are some good books that you have read lately?

Crime & Passion by Chantel Rhondeau Review

I love a good romance suspense... and this book didn't disappoint me! Mixing dramatic action, romance, and a killer on the loose made this one book that was hard to put down. Madeline is one of those `unlucky' in love people who has trust issues.
The romance between Madeline and Donovan begins over a dead body.  Madeline finds the body of Frank Johnson while walking a dog on the beach, and Donovan is one of the first officer's on the scene. He immediately begins to make a complete and total fool of himself. Their romance takes time to develop as they both have problems getting over events from their past, and of course, the walls the two of them have erected to protect themselves from getting hurt, causing them to break up numerous times before they finally realize that they are  soul mates.
With lots of  twists and turns, and several  characters who were `suspicious', there are many potential suspects to keep you engaged  in this book. I enjoyed Crime & Passion very much. The author put the romance and suspense together in a perfect harmony!

The Importance of Being Polite

I am very big on making sure that my children are polite to others. This includes saying please and thank you when they want things and when they have received help. It seems to me like, a lot of people don't do this anymore. I believe that teaching your children to be polite, is in its own way, teaching your child to be tolerant and patient of the world around them. If they can be polite to people regardless of how they are treated then they will become stronger adults.
My children go to a private  school on the weekend. And I volunteer to help with lunch and other things, and it is very sad, that very few of these children are polite. When they are served they don't say please or thank you, they just take as if they are owed something!
This make me so sad because these children are so smart but if they don't learn to be polite they will have lot of problems in their life. Is it the schools job or the parents job to teach children to be courteous?
