Help Walmart Fight Hunger

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Walmart Foundation for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

More than 50 Million Americans don't know how they will get food for their next meal. Springtime traditionally brings a decrease in food and charitable donations to food banks around the country. One of the main causes of hunger is unemployment.

To Help stop the Spring hunger, Walmart is working with Feeding America and four  most ,recognizable food brands in America- ConAgra, General Mills, Kraft and Kellogg's - in a nationwide Fighting Hunger Together initiative from Monday, April 9 through April 30. You can join the fight against hunger in-store or through Facebook

If you are interested you can help by by purchasing select products  in-store from ConAgra, General Mills, Kraft and Kellogg's, you can donate meals to Feeding America or Action for Healthy Kids, a nonprofit fighting childhood hunger. Please check out in-store signage and packaging to make a purchase and help make a difference.

On, April 9th and April 30th Walmart will be hosting a Facebook campaign where fans can rally support for communities in need of hunger relief. Vote among 200 communities with the highest unemployment rate as determined by a Department of Labor Report (found here: http://bit.ly/H1yxFK). Walmart will donate a total of $2 million to the 21 communities receiving the most support: $1 million to the winner and $50,000 each to the 20 runners-up. Winning communities will be announced May 1st.

Please everyone lets make this effort a success by votting  on Facebook between April 9-30. Also please  spard the word to as many people as you can! Thanks
