More than 50 Million Americans don't know how they will get food for their next meal. Springtime traditionally brings a decrease in food and charitable donations to food banks around the country. One of the main causes of hunger is unemployment.
To Help stop the Spring hunger, Walmart is working with Feeding America and four most ,recognizable food brands in America- ConAgra, General Mills, Kraft and Kellogg's - in a nationwide Fighting Hunger Together initiative from Monday, April 9 through April 30. You can join the fight against hunger in-store or through Facebook
If you are interested you can help by by purchasing select products in-store from ConAgra, General Mills, Kraft and Kellogg's, you can donate meals to Feeding America or Action for Healthy Kids, a nonprofit fighting childhood hunger. Please check out in-store signage and packaging to make a purchase and help make a difference.

Vote among 200 communities with the highest unemployment rate as determined by a Department of Labor Report (found here: http://bit.ly/H1yxFK). Walmart will donate a total of $2 million to the 21 communities receiving the most support: $1 million to the winner and $50,000 each to the 20 runners-up.
