Knowing Vera (Chance for Love) by Rachelle Ayala Review

This book doesn't have a dull moment from start to finish! I finished reading it in one sitting! If you like  romantic suspense stories then this book is for you! I just loved the way Vere looks at things and her determination. Zach is totally swoon-worthy and a great hero who will take your heart. He lost his leg in an accident trying to save a friend is so great at dealing with it. Every woman should have a Zach in their life!. Things are hot between these two, despite Vera's questions and hesitations.  I felt bad for Vera, since she's had a hard time of things and recent events make her life even harder. She can't fully give her heart to Zach until she knows the truth about her past and can lay to rest some family secrets.

I thought Vera's race for the truth was entertaining. I'll  look forward to Rachelle's next book. This book was really interesting!

Card.com Debit Card Review

I was given a debit card from www.card.com to review and I used it to buy products from Dollar Tree, for my reward store, which I have for my children to help them do better in home school. The card worked like a charm! I had no problems. It was just like using a regular credit or debit card.
This is a debit card, like the one from your bank, and you can use it EVERYWHERE Visa is accepted -- except it's way cooler and cuter than your crumby old bank card. Here is some information on this card:

  • Free to order, activate and load
  • Free app and check deposits from your smartphone
  • Free direct deposit
  • Free card-to-card transfers, any time, anywhere, in seconds
  • No overdraft fees -- never goes negative!
  • Safer than cash - 24/7 support, Visa fraud protection and 100% FDIC insurance on funds
  • No debt, financially responsible, no interest/credit/APRs
  • No credit check and approval in seconds
  • 22,000 in-network ATMs
  • Thousands of cool, unique card designs to choose from, including brands like: Garfield, Popeye, Betty Paige, James Dean, Care Bears, Walking Dead, Star Trek, Autism Awareness, Breast Cancer Research, Shark Week, Where's Waldo, Doodle Jump, THree Stooges, Nancy Drew, etc.

This card is not a gift card, so you can’t give or receive the card as a gift - It's better than a gift card because you don't just use it once and toss it, but instead get to replace your boring bank-issued debit card and show it off over and over.

This card is Free for 30 days - then $5.95 monthly fee, which we waive when you direct deposit over $800 in the previous 30 days.  This fee is the same as the Walmart prepaid card and way less than many of our competitors. It's also much less than over drafting your bank account, paying for a checking account or using a credit card.
Get your card now so that you can manage your money by spending less so that you will have more to spend on your family and your dreams. Using debit cards can help you spend less because you only spend what you have and not more.

I was given a card free to review by card.com. Regardless all opinion are my own.

Help Stop Bullying!

Many children have experienced bullying and it is important to teach our children to stand up for their self. We should teach our children that it’s ok to say no to something that they don't like. We should help them understand that they have rights as a person, no matter how small a person they are. We should teach our children to not be afraid of others just because that person is bigger.
A great way to teach children this is, through role play. What I do with my children is practice different behaviors that are undesirable and teach them the correct way to deal with the problem. This technique really works, and can be used any time you want your child to behave in a certain manner. For example, before you go to shopping, you can have your children prentice the correct way to act in the store, that they will know what it is expected of them. Here is a video about bulling that is really cute!
